Update 2.0.5: Pilot Market, Caelnor the stranded trader and a new mobile interface

Pilots,

Update 2.0.5 brings the Pilot Market, a stranded trader at every X-8, fairer world boss drops and a big mobile redesign. Here is everything that changed since 2.0.2.

On Android and iOS, update from the Play Store or the App Store as soon as it shows up. PC and the browser version follow.

Pilot Market

You can now sell one of your pilots to another player for Qcoin, or buy one. It is the safe way to trade a pilot: no account sharing, no trusting strangers.

• Open it from its own zone at your base, in pink, top right, facing the Hangar.
• Browse: every pilot for sale with their ship, title, level, rank, AP, DP and gear score. Filter by faction and gear score, sort by newest, price or level.
• Details shows everything the pilot comes with before you pay: gear, drones, pets, inventory, storage, credits and gold.
• Selling: pick a price from 200 Qcoin. Listing costs 100 Qcoin, and when the pilot sells you get 90% of the price.
• While listed, the pilot is locked. Cancel the listing to play it again. If you cancel yourself, the 100 Qcoin fee is not returned.
• A pilot needs level 10 and 7 days of age to be listed, and can't be listed with marketplace listings or uncollected sales.
• A bought pilot can't be listed again for 30 days, and you need a free pilot slot to buy one.
• Private messages stay with the old owner.
• + Recharge next to your Qcoin opens the web shop, already signed in to your account.

Caelnor, the stranded trader

A broken freighter sits next to the base of every X-8, on the portal side. Its pilot, Caelnor, is stuck there until he gets her running again, and he sells what he has in the hold.

Fly close and press Trade (or R). For now he sells one thing: the Caelnor Luxury Box, for 50,000,000 credits.

Caelnor Luxury Box

A roulette box. Open it from your inventory and spin for one of these:

Antimatter	x25
Stellar Core	x15
One of the six T4 drones	from base up to TET
Advice	+50 or +100 FS

• Enhanced drones show their level on the roulette (PRI, DUO, TRI, TET).
• The box goes to your normal inventory, and its hover lists what it may contain.

World bosses

• T4 piece: the raffle winner now has a 20% chance (was 10%) and every other valid participant 2% (was 1%).
• Warhead Core: 5% for every valid participant, winner included. It no longer depends on the raffle.
• The raffle no longer favours the pilot with the most damage.
• Weekend night spawns for the Americas: Saturday and Sunday at 01:00 and 02:30 UTC.

• Guide > Drops has a new World Bosses section with what each boss can give: T4 pieces, T4 drones, T3 pieces, Warhead Core, T3 drones, Arcane Stones and Cron Stones.

Boxes and roulettes

• Opening any box now asks you to confirm first.
• Roulette prizes come in a different order every time you open one.
• The roulette slows down for longer before it stops, with new sounds for the ticks and the win.
• The roulette always stops on the prize you actually won.
• Esc closes only the roulette, not the windows behind it.
• The box you get for beating Boss Strun in the tutorial now also gives +1 inventory slot.

Lasers

• The laser info now shows its Fire range, on PC and mobile.

Ships and ammo

• G-K2 and Vengeance carry 1,000 lt of cargo.
• x2, x3, x4, RCB and SB-00 ammo weigh 0.01 lt per round, like x1.
• AB-AMMO: choose which ammo it buys for you, LCB-1 or MCB-2.
• The Wing-X info shows its home bonuses: double shield and +10% damage against aliens in your company maps, -15% damage outside them.
• The Ships zone of your base is now the Hangar.
• The Blacksmith can repair your rocket launcher in Repair Ship Equipment.

Clans

• The Clan window shows the applications you sent on the right, and you can cancel them.

Daily rewards

• The login calendar and the daily gift are per pilot again: each of your pilots claims their own.

Marketplace

• A cancelled listing goes back to the base it was listed from.

Mobile

Almost every screen was rebuilt for the phone:

• Every window opens full screen, Gold Shop style, with a big back button and X.
• Inventory, Enhancement, Factory, Storage, Marketplace, Pets, Clan, Guide, Settings, Friends, Mailbox and Referrals were redesigned with bigger slots and readable text.
• The HUD is 30% bigger, with a HUD Size slider in Settings. The group panel opens from its GROUP button, centred and above the joystick.
• The HP/SH bar is now optional: Settings > Controls > HP/SH bar.
• Your buffs and server events show as icons under ACTIVE in the menu. Tap one to see its name and time left.
• Dragging over the chat or the missions sheet no longer moves your ship.
• The menu no longer opens and closes on the same tap.
• Android: Google sign-in uses the phone's own account picker instead of opening Chrome.

PC

• Windows are less see-through, like the HUD panels.
• Esc closes the last window you opened. With a confirmation on top of the menu or of a window, Esc closes the confirmation first.
• Clicking a window behind another brings it to the front.
• The target card has thicker HP and SH bars with the numbers inside.

More changes and fixes

• Buttons react on press and windows open faster.
• The mining sound plays to the end after a quick pick.
• Browser: no more engine sound crackle every few seconds.
• Fixed an error right after using the Pilot Name Change.
• New pilots show their company and its emblem while they play the tutorial.

General bug fixes and improvements.
