World Bosses & Gates
The six world bosses, fractures, Galaxy Gates and antimatter.
World bosses
Five named bosses rotate through the week, each spawning twice on a fixed evening schedule (server time): Kristhar, Devorath, Sybaris, Umbros and Imperion. Fights happen in a boss arena instance and require level 12.
Deal enough damage and survive, and the kill drops a cache into your inventory; opening it rolls credits, stones, a 5% shot at the boss' own T3 piece and a 1% shot at its T4 drone. On top of that, every kill guarantees one piece of the endgame arsenal for someone present: Kristhar drops the LF-3 laser, Devorath the LF-3M, Sybaris the GEN-7100 speed generator, and Umbros and Imperion the SGEN-B1 shield generator.
Take too long and the boss flees. You still get a consolation box, just not the real one.
- The in-game boss timer window shows the next spawn.
Fractures
Fractures are rare drops from high sectors in three grades: Stellar, Runic and Ancient. Five fractures of the same grade combine into a Galaxy Gate portal. Some mission chains also pay in fractures and antimatter.
Galaxy Gates
Charge a portal and enter a private two-boss instance. Gates are solo: entering one pulls you out of any party. Rewards scale with the grade: a Stellar run pays a few antimatter, an Ancient run pays up to fourteen.
Gates are the main faucet of antimatter, the endgame crafting material. The loop is the endgame economy: farm fractures, forge portals, run gates, spend antimatter.
