Going pirate
Burn your honor below zero by hunting your own faction and you qualify for the pirate faction. Joining is a choice, not a punishment.
Pirates trade the military ladder for their own ranked hierarchy, from D- all the way to S+, driven by pirate points instead of honor.
Pirate life
Pirates operate from P-1, a hidden home sector off MEV-4 that only pirates can enter, with their own base at its heart.
A high pirate rank means exactly what it sounds like: famous, feared and shot on sight. It also shows on your Pilot Registry profile.
