Progression & Ranks
Levels, missions, honor and the percentile rank ladder.
Levels and missions
EXP comes from kills and missions and gates deeper content: world bosses need level 12, top sectors expect much more.
Missions are step-based chains that walk you through every system while paying credits, items and EXP. Early on they are your main income; later they hand out the materials the endgame runs on, including antimatter from some chains.
- EXP scrolls (30 minute and 1 hour versions) stack the grind in your favor.
Honor
Honorable kills raise honor, and alien kills feed it steadily. Killing your own faction burns it, fast.
Honor feeds your military rank. If it goes negative it opens a different door entirely: the pirate path.
Military ranks
Ranks are percentile-based against every active pilot in your faction: the bottom fifth are Privates, and the pyramid narrows through Corporal, the Sergeant chain, Officer grades, Lieutenant grades, Lieutenant Colonel and Colonel, up to Lieutenant General held by the top sliver.
General is unique: exactly one per faction. Go inactive for a few weeks and you fall off the ladder entirely until you return.
- Your rank and gear score are public in the Pilot Registry.
